Jerry F. Benzl, M.D. Child, Adolescent & Board-certified, Adult Psychiatrist
Jerry F. Benzl, M.D. has a diverse academic and medical training history. His U.C. Berkeley undergraduate degree is in mathematics and economics, with a master's degree in social sciences from UC Irvine. His journey into psychiatry started at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, where he completed both his M.D. and psychiatry residency. Illinois was a fantastic place to learn and train, with cultural diversity, and a wide variety of patient circumstances. In our Orange County community, Dr. Benzl did his fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of California, Irvine. He sees psychiatry as a field where each person's health is impacted by their environment, biology and interpersonal relationships. Dr. Benzl independently treats children, adolescents and adults in our office.
