Chika is a highly qualified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with extensive experience in delivering compassionate mental health care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and is board certified and specializes as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With a passion for helping individuals achieve mental wellness, she is skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, psychotic disorders and more.
She is a member of several professional organizations, including the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau. Dedicated to staying current with the latest developments in mental health, she regularly attends conferences for continuous education.
Ms. Okwara enjoys running, reading, and traveling. Known for a warm and empathetic approach, she strives to create a holistic, supportive and understanding environment for all her patients.
Chika is currently accepting new patients ages 13 and above, and is eager to help individuals on their journey towards better mental health.
