Dr. Duk brings 20 years experience as a Vietnamese Roman Catholic general & adult psychiatrist. He completed both his medical education, and trained in psychiatry at Loma Linda University, serving there as chief resident in Psychiatry. He then worked at the Veteran's Hospital (VA) in Loma Linda for 4 years before private practice. For patients inclined to integrate their spirituality into psychiatric treatment, Dr. Duk strives to help them understand how to handle their problems, endure pain and find meaning in life. Patients 13 and older can schedule with Dr. Duk mostly by telehealth, but he has some limited capacity for in-person treatment. His many interests include flying drones, teaching martial arts, reading Aristotelian and Thomist philosophy, apologetics, weightlifting, marksmanship, and leading bible studies. Dr. Duk is very active with his family and wife of 20 years.
