Adam D. Borecky, M.D. Adolescent & Adult Psychiatrist, Board-certified, TMS Specialist
Dr. Borecky was born and raised in Escondido, California. At Loma Linda University he obtained both his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) and a Master of Arts in Clinical Bioethics. He trained in Psychiatry at Loma Linda University Health, serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Borecky has a special interest in treatment-resistant depression and other mood disorders, and is trained in TMS therapy. He treats patients 18 and over by telemedicine as an independent contractor. He has published in top medical journals including the American Journal of Bioethics, Acta Paediatrica, and Academic Psychiatry, with research interest in the interface between ethics, law & psychiatry, suicidology, and improving medical education. He contributed to the Psychiatry & Psychotherapy Podcast with Dr. David Puder, a leading Psychiatry education resource. In his free time, he loves nothing more visiting Disneyland with his wife, strength training, and cooking with close friends.
