Dr. Hieu Nguyen both attended medical school and trained in Psychiatry at the University of Washington. He has a special interest in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Dr. Nguyen has special training in neuromodulation treatments, including Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). His core priority is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where patients feel heard and supported while working toward meaningful, sustainable change. Dr. Nguyen treats a very wide range of concerns using a collaborative care approach, partnering closely with each patient to create personalized treatment plans reflecting their goals, values, and unique needs. He is fluent in both Vietnamese and English, and is sensitive to how cultural identity shapes each person’s experience of mental health. Dr. Nguyen is now accepting new patients.
